Conky Toggle

One of my favorite linux programs is Conky and many distributions include it by default but aside from opening the terminal, once you have opened it you’re stuck with it. There’s not usually a simple way to toggle Conky on and off in most distributions by default but adding the functionality is easy.

Create file

conky-toggle.sh

Add to File

#!/bin/sh
# click to start, click to stop

if pidof conky | grep [0-9] > /dev/null
then
 exec killall conky
else
 conky
fi

Create Launcher and direct it to file location for Command.
